The shop where Amy works as a sales assistant and front of house has got to be chocolate heaven.
I walked passed and walked back, Amy looked so relaxed in her sweet surroundings. She describes her style as old school vintage. Her favourite place in London is Camden. Our surprise is that she represented England baton twirling. I have only ever met one other baton twirler and he was a waiter in a restaurant in Miami we used to go to when I was an assistant. He used to twirl the salt and pepper before offering it to us. It was pretty impressive. Here Amy is wearing a Primark scarf, a H&M kids jacket, Topman shirt, Zara trousers and her shoes are called Flossy and are from Office.

I love red hair and Marianne's is great. Having said that she has just gone a beautiful blue... you can check out her new colour on her site Style Devil. In the 1st picture she is wearing a jacket by Castle Byach, Mardou and Dean trousers, Costume National shoes, a Cubus scarf and is carrying a Alexander Wang bag. I dont know what she is wearing in the second shot (except for the bag of course) but was loving her fun look.

Your face is your canvas

This season natural looking make-up is very in. However, when it's about make-up I prefer the natural look anyway. Either it's a trend or not. I don't use any foundation or any powder, which I believe are bad for skin.  Sometimes I use concealer in parts but not regularly. My make-up consists of a good eye make-up with at least 3 shades blended in well and black mascara or with a natural shadow and an eye liner for the cat eye look.  With a soft blush and a natural gloss or lip stick. I have very fair skin so I prefer leaving it that way.  This is what my make-up is all about. Eyes are important though. I never leave the house without my eyes done.  :) Just leave the skin alone, it needs to breath. The environment is already dirty and polluted as we are in a big city, why clog the pores with foundation and powder... Anyway, here are some of my favorite looks:

Bu sezon doğal görünümlü makyaj oldukça "in".

I really love photographing Toni. When we go to shoot I always feel he has pulled out all the stops for me. But then he is a very creative guy and incredibly inventive with it. He is a Fashion Blogger, Student (studying Architecture) and a pretty good photographer to boot. This wonderful ensemble is made up of 2 blankets he bought at the airport to make his scarf, Topman jacket, shirt and cross bought in Vietnam, wrist strap from a Portuguese market. The top part of his trousers are cut down Diesel jeans which have bee dyed with brown shoe wax which made them go this dark purpley colour. The legs of his trousers are the arms of a Pull & Bear shirt. The straps around the trouser legs are 2 bracelets put together also from Pull and Bear. His rucksack is Desigual and the boots are Japanese. His style influence is Japanese Street Style and says it is all about the jewelry and studs.

Out and about....the first Vogue Festival

To say how happy I am when Vogue call would be an understatement and when they asked me to cover the first ever Vogue Festival with PR and Street Chic pictures I was blown away. The list of speakers read like a who's who of the fashion world. It was a brilliant idea that came together smoothly and seemingly effortlessly which belied the enormous effort that went it to make it just so good. And all I can say to you all is look out for it next year and nab your tickets quick. It will be money well spent. For me it was 2, full on days of shooting getting shots ready on site and uploaded to Vogue as the event was happening so they could live as it was happening. Then yesterday was a full day of prepping the Street Chic work. All that on top of battling with a cold that had me loose my voice on Friday which meant I had to whisper to everyone. I really hope you like the results. I don't think I have ever produced so many pictures in such a short time. To see the PR images click here - they are not all mine I have a credit for the ones I took. To see the Street Chic images click here - the 1st 30 are mine.

A versatile piece: Jean Shirts

This season jean shirts are quite in. I have one which haven't worn for many many years, but they are actually quite versatile. You can pair them with white jeans, pastel colored jeans, lace skirts/dresses, and with black of course. As I don't feel very well today, I'll share some outfit ideas with jean shirts and won't write much else.

Eco Fashion

Have you ever heard the term "Eco Fashion?" It's about being eco-friendly, ethical and sustainable.  By saying sustainable it means the renewability and source of a fiber, how a raw material is processed and working conditions in the process of production.  Also important is the material's total carbon footprint.
For those who aren't so familiar with the term "carbon footprint," it's a measure of the total amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4)  emissions of a defined population, system of activity.  An individual's, nation's or organization's carbon footprint can be measured by undertaking GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emissions assesment. Once the size of a carbon footprint is known, counter measures can be planned to reduce the amount that's being emitted.  So if we go back to the term sustainable fashion, we can talk about using natural fibers- such as cotton, mohair, cashmere, silk, wool etc.- producing these natural fibers with eco-friendly production methods, and also using recycled materials.
From designers aspect, they are trying to incorporate this trend, philosophy into their clothing lines in a more modern way, rather than creating "hippy clothes."  However, as a natural outcome of the sustainable fashion, this method is more expensive than the "normal" methods.  Such as efforts taken to minimize the harm into the environment, manufacturing process and shipping of the products.
Celebrities, models and designers such as Stella McCartney, Amour Vert, Summer Rayne Oakes have recently drawn attention to eco-friendly fashion trend, along with Hollywood celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston.
Recently the Eco Fashion Week (EFW) was held in Vancouver (April 10-12) with seminars and runway shows of the brands Adhesif, Arm Candy, Bitru Fariel, Deanna Palkowski, F as in Frank, fiveleft, Indigenious, Kreati-Ka, La Isla, Sarah La Greca, Myriam Laroche, LRMA, Prophetic, SVENKS, Standing Armed.

Here are some products from Amour Vert made from recycled material and with natural fibers:

Clothing made from recycled plastic soda bottles.. Now that's something to be praised!
Plastik gazlı içecek şişelerini geri dönüştürerek üretilmiş giysiler.. Gerçekten de takdire şayan!
