Continuing with pre-fall collections, Reed Krakoff is another designer that I like along with Helmut Lang. I especially adore his bags.
In this collection we see structure and geometrical cuts; masculine and boxy shapes. However, it captures the feminity in these pieces with more feminine colors and textures. Could you take a look at these beautiful skirts and jackets? I’ve always been a bit of distant to too feminine details like frills, ruffles etc. I see women as being very strong and tough when necessary; hence women should be symbolized with more sharp and edgy shapes.
