We were sitting chatting in this wonderful location before we took the pictures and I couldn't help but notice the shift. To me it felt size-mic so I mentioned it to Rosalind. As we discussed it, it became apparent to me that it is freedom that has made her bloom even further. The freedom of turning 18. The joy of at last being an adult and knowing that she will be taken seriously. The freedom of finishing exams and for the 1st time in years having the summer spread out in front of her to do with what she pleases. The excitement and expectation of going to Uni in the autumn. All these wonderful things are radiating from her and it was joyful to spend the afternoon in that glow.

It was wonderful to wander through the east end with Rosalind. We even made it up to Columbia Road market where Rosalind bumped into other bloggers she knew and was photographed again there by them. Last year (while she was still 16) Rosalind won the <a href="http://www.vogue.co.uk/news/2011/09/05/october-issue-of-vogue---adele/gallery#/image/6" target="_blank">Vogue Talent Competition 2011</a>. Part of her prize is to work for Vogue for a month, we met for lunch today and she is certainly enjoying her time there. There are great things ahead for Rosalind, watch this space, no, actually <a href="http://clothescamerasandcoffee.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">watch this one</a>.<br />Today for work she wore a dress by <a href="http://www.lazzariweb.it/" target="_blank">Lazzari</a>, vintage shirt and shoes and is carrying a bag that used to belong to her grandma. All her accessories are also vintage.<br />Thank you for your lovely thoughts re my camera. They replaced the shutter beautifully and as you can see I am happily up and running again.
