I have tried brand after brand in search of a powder to set my foundation, look flawless and not too 'cakey', remove shine and have that extra staying power. I've known all along that this one from Mac is the best one out there, I just couldn't bring myself to pay the price for it. I got this one in duty free at the airport before my hols as it was slightly cheaper. I've gotta say, now I really know how amazing this product is, I will be using this from now on and happily pay that extra for it! It buffs on beautifully and doesn't look like powder at all, it's more like silk. I prefer to buy expensive face products as I know they are good for me and I am going to get the best results. Ren is definitely one of my favourite skincare brands as it is 100% natural ingredients and they give amazing results. I've never had a night cream before<b> </b>and I think that this is an important step of my day and night routine. This one allows me to wake up feeling fresh and I have noticed that extra glow to my skin. I have been using this expert brush for my foundation and it is AMAZING - better than any other brush I have used. On Saturday I had a quick pop to my local town to get a few essentials, and in the meantime, I found some great bargains that I couldn't resist on buying. Although I study in London, I am now back for the Summer in my hometown Ipswich. Our shopping centre isn't the best of places, so when I find some good buys I am left extremely happy! </span></center><center style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></center><center style="text-align: left;"><ul><li><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>17 Miracle Matte Pressed Powder: Boots</b> - Because I have dry skin, I need to use a moisturising foundation. The only liquid foundations that work on my skin leave a very glossy/dewy finish which leaves my looking like a shine-ball unless I blot it with a good powder! I've been looking for a nice powder for a while that is long-lasting and looks great. As I go through this stuff like there's no tomorrow, I have been searching for an effective pressed powder at a reasonable price. This one is great. It really lasts all day and leaves a flawless finish without drying out my skin. It costs around the £3 mark.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>17 Stay Time Concealer: Boots</b> - There was a buy one get one half price deal in Boots this weekend, so when I picked up the powder, it was only right to find another product to complete the deal! I also use so much concealer. I don't suffer in major breakouts, but I like to use a good brightening concealer to highlight under my eyes every morning. This one does just that and it was a great price too - £3. </span></li><li><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Lancome Flash Bronzer: Debenhams</b> - I am a fake tan addict. I'm not a fan of putting regular self tan on my face as I don't think this is overly good for my skin and also it never seems to work that well. I've heard great things about Flash Bronzer, so when I saw it reduced from £23 to £13 I had to get it! It really does work very well. It is a gel base that can be used as an every day moisturiser due to its vitamin E ingredients. I put it on under my makeup to let it work its magic throughout the day. I really love it and it is longer lasting than other fake tans used on the face.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Vita Liberata Tinted Self Tan: Debenhams</b> - This is the fake tan I always use. I have tried and tested A LOT of fake tans and this is hands down the best one for me. It is made from 100% all natural and organic ingredients so is very moisturising and kind to the skin. The colour is very golden and sun-kissed, streak free and the fade is very even too. I don't experience any scaly or patchy fade marks with this product, unlike every other tan I have previously used. I really recommend this tan to all the fake tanners out there - I promise you wont be disappointed! They have a range of products to suit every kind of person. This was also reduced in Debenhams from £23 to £18!</span></li><li><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Black Wedges: Primark</b> - Yes Primark! I love these kinds of sandals at the moment as they are so cute from the summer, they are comfy and they give me that little extra boost of height! When I saw these at the price of £10, there was no way I was going to leave without them. If I had been setting this up we would have had to get a whole team together and cast the bike and rider for the background. Well maybe the guy on the bike would have looked different, but apart from that I couldn't have asked for more. It is such a kick when you see it all fall into place in the lens. And to have <a href="http://www.thegoldendiamonds.com/">Doina</a> as the main focus of the shot, perfect. <a href="http://www.thegoldendiamonds.com/">Doina</a> is the force behind <a href="http://www.thegoldendiamonds.com/">The Golden Diamonds</a>, her about me says that her biggest dreams are to develop the Fashion Industry in Moldova and also to become a politician. So quite a broad brush of interests. She has certainly been making in roads on the fashion front as I was just reading in her tweets that the shoot for her own collection was taking place on yesterday - Monday. And you will eventually be able to see it and buy it from <a href="http://www.moja.ro/">here</a>. So to give you a flavour of what to expect, the skirt and shirt in the 1st shot are her own design, which she has paired with an <a href="http://www.armani.com/">Armani</a> coat, <a href="http://www.chloe.com/#/en">Chloe </a>shoes and <a href="http://www.ysl.com/en_US">YSL</a> bag. When we go to shoot I always feel he has pulled out all the stops for me. But then he is a very creative guy and incredibly inventive with it. He is a <a href="http://fashitects.blogspot.co.uk/">Fashion Blogger</a>, Student (studying Architecture) and a pretty good photographer to boot. This wonderful ensemble is made up of 2 blankets he bought at the airport to make his scarf, <a href="http://www.topman.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopCategoriesDisplay?storeId=12555&catalogId=33056">Topman</a> jacket, shirt and cross bought in Vietnam, wrist strap from a Portuguese market. The top part of his trousers are cut down <a href="http://www.diesel.com/">Diesel</a> jeans which have bee dyed with brown shoe wax which made them go this dark purpley colour. The legs of his trousers are the arms of a Pull & Bear shirt. The straps around the trouser legs are 2 bracelets put together also from <a href="http://www.pullandbear.com/">Pull and Bear</a>. His rucksack is <a href="http://www.desigual.com/en_US">Desigual</a> and the boots are Japanese. His style influence is Japanese Street Style and says it is all about the jewelry and studs.

The list of speakers read like a who's who of the fashion world. It was a brilliant idea that came together smoothly and seemingly effortlessly which belied the enormous effort that went it to make it just so good. And all I can say to you all is look out for it next year and nab your tickets quick. It will be money well spent. For me it was 2, full on days of shooting getting shots ready on site and uploaded to Vogue as the event was happening so they could live as it was happening. Then yesterday was a full day of prepping the Street Chic work. All that on top of battling with a cold that had me loose my voice on Friday which meant I had to whisper to everyone. I really hope you like the results. I don't think I have ever produced so many pictures in such a short time.
