I'm here with the last part of the series, How To Dress For Your Body Shape, with the triangle!  Who are triangles? The ones who have broad shoulders, narrow hips, either with a flat bottom or a curvier one.  Bust size varies.   Choose drape, soft fabrics, flowing tops.  Tailored button downs with waist definition are perfect for this body shape.  Keep the collar open and wear a feminine cami under it. Cardigans must be V-neck and kept unbuttoned.  These will all soften the broad shoulder line.  Stay away from puffy arms, sleeves, shoulder-pads and anything overly volumed.  As for dresses, pick wider straps instead of spaghetti, since wider straps will shorten the length of the shoulder.  Oh, and one more thing; strapless style is best for the broad shouldered ones! So how are you all felling about that? :) Great, huh? :) This weekend is  filled with family visits, making people happy.  Visiting a mother-in-law having a severe stomach flu, and grandma who really enjoys some company, will be followed by visiting mom tomorrow and our cutest dog Sophie, who is 11 years old now. So, yes, this weekend is about family.  What about yours?  Continuing with the series, How To Dress For Your Body Shape, today I'd like to share my ideas on the pear-shape.  Pear-shape, as it is with the fruit itself, slimmer on the top but fuller on the bottom.  What should pears do then?  Wear baggy stuff to cover that bum or hide behind tunics and long cardigans? Of course not! Do not even think about it, please. Embrace your shape and get along with it :)  So, what you need to do is, to pair V-neck blouses with flared jeans or an A-line skirt to create an hourglass shape.  Tops should be slim fit and shape hugging. Choose jackets fitting around the bust and waist but slowly flaring towards the hips.    Keeping it short, it's about focusing the attention around the top part, and not the bottom.  Layering is another key: it can balance a pear-shaped body by adding visual interest to the upper part of the body. Go get your nicest tops and cardigans, or jackets and play with what you've got.  Who are the most famous celebs with this body shape? Leighton Meester, Kate Winslet, Beyoncé, Clare Danes. Eh, bu hafta sonunun teması "aile" gibi görünüyor bu tarafta. :)  Sizin hafta sonunuz nasıl geçiyor?  Nasıl giyinmeli serisine devam edecek olursak, bugün sizlerle armut şekli üzerine fikirlerimi paylaşmak istiyorum.  Armut şekli, meyvenin kendinde de olduğu gibi üst taraf daha ince, alt taraf ise daha geniş ve toparlak.  O halde armutlar ne yapmalı?  Bol ve dökümlü parçalar giyip popoyu örtmeye, tunik ve uzun hırkaların ardına saklamaya mı çalışmalı? Elbette ki hayır! Şeklinizi şemalinizi sevin ve onu kucaklayın :)  Bu durumda, ne yapmalı, V yaka bluz ve üstlerle, geniş paça pantolonlar veya A kesim eteklerle kum saati ilüzyonu yaratmaya çalışmalı. Üst parçalar vücuda nispeten oturan cinsten olmalı.  Ceketlerinizi göğüs ve bel kısmına oturan, kalçaya doğru hafif genişleyen kesimde seçin.  İşin özeti, mesele dikkatleri üst kısma yoğunlaştırmakta, alt kısma değil.  Bir diğer taktik de kat kat giyinmek. Bu yöntemle armut şeklinde bir vücudu biraz daha dengeleyebilir ve yine dikkatleri üst tarafa çekebilirsiniz.  Ee ne duruyorsunuz?
