So, considering all, dressing according to our shape can be quite annoying as we have to take into consideration many points. </span><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><br /></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I believe that I have quite gotten down my body shape, so I know what suits me and what doesn't suit me.  But of course, I do experience surprises while trying out new styles and seeing that they actually look good on me, when in fact I previously have thought it didn't suit me.  So, you must always TRY. Try everything, all styles and see what is good and what is not.  Bring friends or family you trust and ask them.  For me, I usually ask MYSELF. Because I know ME well and I can be really honest with myself :) So, if you can trust yourself, what you see in that mirror, go alone in trying clothes.  But if you can't be sure, just ask your trusted friends/family and have fun! </span><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><br /></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">As of this post, I will do a series of four post for four different main body shapes: the hourglass, triangle, pear and the rectangle. I hope to be able to help you in finding your best style, or I should say, best cuts and shapes.  </span><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><br /></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">So, today's post will be about the hourglass.  If you're an hourglass, which is the least of the women, then you're pretty lucky :) This shape is very feminine and very easy to style in my opinion.  Just keep in one  thing in mind: If you're not specifically opting for an uber-sexy look (like in the office, etc.) then you need to be careful when emphasizing your curvy assets as it can look too hot for the place you are in :)</span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">In the hourglass figure, shoulders and hips are at the same width and waistline is noticeably defined, which gives the hourglass appearance.  So, since accentuating the waist is the most important thing, go ahead and show us your defined waist with high waisted pants, skirts, and thin & feminine belts.  Pencil skirts would look great on you, but be careful, if you're like Kim Kardashian, you may want to try to adjust the tightness of your skirt according to the occasion or your environment, like work, as the tightness of the skirt might draw too much attention, which is not something we want in the office.  Is it? :)</span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Skinny jeans and cropped cigarette pants look good on the hourglass as they accentuate the feminine shape.  Prefer not to wear the flared ones as they can make your legs appear boxy and your hips wider than they are. </span><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><br /></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">You can wear almost any top you want, just try top avoid overly flowy or slouchy ones as they can make you appear bulky. However, since I couldn't find the skirt any other place, I decided to try my luck and if necessary would send it back. And voila! It fits! Very nicely! :) I can't tell you how happy I am that I found my perfect leather pencil skirt!
