What I spotted first was 4 girls in different coloured when I caught up with them I was treated to 4 beautiful sisters - from left to right Beatrix, Aggie, Imogen and Octavia. Just look at all that wonderful red hair. They are all wearing
Mac in a Sac coats except Octavia who is wearing a waxed Barbour from Topshop.
King Hamish
Admiral Marty
Admiral Marty and Director Henry and the Magical Knitted Tree.
The boys were having fun long jumping off hay bales. And Henry was both directing the action and taking part. Hamish and Marty had been dressed by the Rubbish Couture tent in the wardrobe department, which was in the walled garden.
The estate the Festival is on is huge and you never know when you are going to be surprised like you are when you come across something so creative as this wonderful decorated knitted tree.
The Tea Ladies on Tour and Busk Stop.
The Tea Ladies were hilarious and were wondering about serving tea and causing merriment wherever they went. They are Mildred Biggins, Ethel Higginbottom and Vera forgotten used to have a memory but don't know where I left it Brown. Who is married to Erin who she gets confused with her tea urn.
A vintage 4, just thought they looked good.
The setting, it was beautiful. There was something for everyone, music, fashion, poetry readings, book readings, cinema, flowers, cookery demonstrations, walks, wild swimming, knitting, kayaking, mudlarking, special Hullabaloo for the kids to name just a few. The programme said to expect the unexpected I would say that is a perfect description. Oh and don't forget your mosquito repellent. But be sure you go. See you there next year.
