We have started seeing plaids for a while actually. However, this F/W will be full of this design. In anything you can imagine of. Coats, shirts, skirts, dresses, pants... I've always liked this design, ever since I was a child actually. just one point, I don't like it in pants. Especially if it's screaming "I'm plaid!" It has to be either subtle or screaming plaid is acceptable in top pieces. As in the picture above, the top by Philip Lim is just right for my taste.
This beautiful Karen Walker coat has the classical plaid design with a neon twist to it, which by the way makes it a very trendy piece as neon is still going on in the fashion world. Even if the neon piece isn't part of the coat but the shirt underneath, it still creates that edgy effect in my opinion.
This sexy dress by Victoria Beckham has a clean-cut plaid design on it along with the vibrant rich cobalt blue attached to it. Simply perfect... and daring!
This rich red top by Edun is perfect for the rock chic look. It has that edgyness to it which makes it a great match to leather bottoms.
If you're looking for a lady-like look, then opt for a coat like this Mulberry one.
Peplum is still going out, which I love, with a plus attached to it: the plaid. As this peplum plaid top by Aquilano Rimondi.

... and if you're daring enough and vibrant, then these pants by Blugirl are just for you! I've seen this color design at Mango the other day in a pair of skinnies. So, you might as well go and try them out if these appeal to you!
Thanks for stopping by!
